Celebrating over 60 years in business!
Earl Ferguson Construction is unique for many reasons, including possessing a history of over 60 years as master builders in Muskoka.
As you boat Lakes Muskoka, Rosseau and Joseph, at each turn you are viewing award-winning architecture that represents the accomplishments of five generations of Ferguson builders. Many of these outstanding buildings and detailed restorations are featured in magazines and books about the Muskoka region and it’s most admired structures.
The Ferguson history begins in the mid-1800’s when pioneer and master carpenter “Edward” Ferguson emigrated from his Scottish artisan clan to open what is known as the Morinus area of Muskoka Lakes.
One of Edward’s proudest projects was working with his son, master carpenter “William” Ferguson and others to erect “St. John the Baptist Church” at Morinus Point over 110 years ago. A landmark for boaters, St John’s is located close to where, more than 80 years later, Edward’s grandson “Earl” established “Earl Ferguson Construction” and continued to build the Ferguson legacy of extraordinary custom construction for the next sixty years.
